It is with great pleasure and pride that Pakistan Navy Coastal Command announces scheduling of the biggest ever Pakistan Navy Water Sports Gala from August 1~3, 2008 at Karachi Marina Club.

The popularity of water sports continues to grow with new activities popping up all the time, but with it comes a greater need for knowledge and safety awareness. Equipment and expertise may have developed but water will always present a threat, and so it is important to be clued up about the risks and challenges of any new water sport undertaken.

The nation will be filled with pride to see PN Officers and Sailors along with civilian aqua sports lovers acting courageously and pushing their bodies to the limit during the performance of various events, while the citizens of Karachi will have the opportunity to observe and learn adaptive water skiing by speed boats; assault demo and fast boat recovery by SSG (N) and other water sports as guests during the PN Water Sports Gala.

There would also be a food festival, display of cultural village presenting the lifestyle of Sindh-Balochistan coastal areas, ghazal night, live musical concerts, traditional cultural bridal show, kids’ zone and gala dinner.
